Liss

Liss is the owner of Trim n Shape. "I started working here in 1991 and bought the salon ten years later and am still loving it! I grew up in Maungaraki, was on the hill for 30 years, then had a short stint of 5 years in Stokes Valley but now I have moved back into the area with my two beautiful children and my two gorgeous cats. Maungaraki is a fantastic place to work and live, a great neighbourhood, and this is reflected in our wonderful, amazing clientele. I enjoy most sports and keep active with Adventure Race training and enjoying the beautiful local bush hikes. I love all aspects of hairdressing, my favourite being when a client puts their trust in me to colour or cut their hair and give them a totally new look. I love seeing the smile on their face and hearing them say "Thank you, it looks amazing... I love it!" That's what makes it worth it, that's what gets me out of bed in the morning."

Andrea

"I started my hairdressing career 30 odd years ago. I have had a couple breaks to bring up my three children and to care for my mother in law, but I have always loved hairdressing and love working at Trim 'n' Shape. I grew up in Lower Hutt and live in Avalon. My interests include spending time with my children, getting together with family and friends, watching the All Blacks and the Phoenix play, and having a laugh."
